Meet the Sisters
We're twin sisters, licensed psychotherapists with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families on their healing journeys. As co-founders of Inner Essence Therapy LLC, we blend clinical expertise and genuine compassion, connection, and little twin synergy to create a space where growth feels both supported and empowering. We're deeply rooted in our community and truly delighted to serve, support, and make a meaningful impact-one conversation, one breakthrough, and one life at a time.
Chyvonne Taylor-Martin
Co-Founder & Licensed Mental Health Counselor
LMHC is the Co-Founder of Inner Essence Therapy, LLC and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Her journey in the mental health field began in 2010 when she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Jacksonville University and later earned a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University in 2015. With over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families across all ages and cultural backgrounds. Her work spans a variety of clinical environments—including inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings.
She has experience working with children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families. Currently, she primarily works with late teens, young adults, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem concerns, and goal setting.
Her passion for mental health is driven by a profound commitment to helping individuals heal, grow, and achieve emotional well-being. This dedication is rooted in a genuine desire to support others through empathy, understanding, and evidence-based care. Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. Chyvonne prioritizes creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and heard. Guided by the understanding that healing begins within, she collaborates with clients to tap into their inner strengths, bring clarity to their goals, and cultivate intentional, lasting growth Chyvonne integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness-based practices to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and achieve greater emotional balance. Her style is grounded and intentional, offering gentle guidance while allowing clients to move at a pace that feels right for them. With a holistic, mind–body–soul perspective, Chyvonne supports clients in exploring their inner landscape, nurturing growth, and rediscovering alignment. At Inner Essence Therapy, she walks alongside individuals as they release what no longer serves them and steps into a deeper sense of peace, purpose, and inner wellness helping one to rediscover their inner essence. Outside of therapy, Chyvonne values self-care and balance. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children, traveling, and exploring new cuisines.
Shari Taylor Noel, LMFT
Co-Founder & Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Shari Taylor Noel., LMFT is the Co-Founder of Inner Essence Therapy; a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Jacksonville University and her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University.
Shari works primarily with late teens, young adults, and adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, trauma, self-esteem concerns, personal growth, and family or relational challenges. She is deeply committed to helping clients cultivate self-awareness, emotional balance, realignment, and healthier patterns in both their inner and relational worlds.
With extensive experience across outpatient, residential, inpatient acute hospitalization, and school-based settings, Shari brings a nuanced understanding of the emotional and relational experiences people face at different stages of life. Her approach emphasizes a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel seen, supported, and respected.
Shari integrates evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs, including mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). She believes healing unfolds through connection, insight, and practical tools that support meaningful and sustainable growth.
Out of the therapy room, Shari enjoys traveling to new destinations, discovering new cuisines, and collecting meaningful experiences along the way. She values connection and joy, and love spending time with family and friends—whether that’s attending fun social events, trying something new, or simply sharing a good laugh together.
